What is Art?
An artist is the paint splattered hand before the canvas,
The graceful limbs of a blur where hidden within is a dancer,
The lips of a man speaking words on the street that battle for his people's injustice,
Art is the three pairs of little feet powdered in chalk which jump rope in the summer dew.
Inspiration is the spattering of black ink on a pearly backdrop,
The infinite staircase of windswept wood that leads to a brilliant ocean,
The interlocking shades of green and silver which adorn a spring garden drapped in vines,
To be inspired is to gaze at the fast moving clouds overhead as the world turns slowly benieth you.
Inspiration is art and art is inspiration.
